40 West 57th Street is a 34-story modernist/International-style office building in Manhattan, NYC. Completed in 1972, it was originally known as the Squibb Building and designed by Jack Brown. The building stands at 428 feet tall.

The pharmaceutical company Squibb occupied the building until 2002, after merging with Bristol-Myers in 1989. Between 2001 and 2002, Kohn Pederson Fox led a major renovation, which included rebuilding the tower podiums, renovating the pedestrian arcade connecting 56th and 57th Streets, reconfiguring the main lobby, and upgrading vertical transportation and security systems.

Along 57th Street, the building features a two-story arcade with retail storefronts, including a through-block pedestrian arcade and the restaurant Nobu 57.
