277 Park Avenue is a prominent office building located in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. Historically, the site was part of the landholdings of Elizabeth Goelet Kip and her son George Goelet Kip. In the 1870s, the land was involved in a legal battle related to the expansion of Grand Central Depot, resulting in its sale to the New York and Harlem Railroad. Before the current building, a McKim, Mead, and White apartment building occupied the site, notably housing John F. Kennedy in 1957.
