History of Medical Leasing in Lincoln Square
Lincoln Square has experienced a number of deaths and rebirths throughout its history. Initially declared one of the worst “slums” in the City, the surrounding area and its tenements were demolished during the city’s initiative to transform the area during the 1940’s. With the city’s gradual rise, the area became what we know it to be today following major developments, including the construction of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts which was financed in part by the Rockefeller Family.
